Application consultant - devops

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Consultant - DevOps position for our client in Piscataway, NJ.

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

• Analyze IT environments and design DevSecOps automation roadmaps for improved efficiency across traditional and cloud platforms.

• Architect and implement DevSecOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines, integrating security best practices.

• Mentor DevOps Engineers and support solution delivery across build, test, deploy, and performance monitoring.

• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance solutions and delivery processes.

Skills:

• Expertise in DevOps/DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and AWS/Azure/GCP.

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell, or similar).

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Experience:

• 5+ years in DevOps or DevSecOps with end-to-end CI/CD implementation experience.

• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• Certifications in DevOps, Cloud, or Kubernetes preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
