Business Development Associate (Full-Time)

We are seeking a highly motivated Full-Time Business Development Associate for our growing organization!

In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct support to the Business Development team in the ongoing development of existing and prospective clients for TKL’s services, which can include companies in the pharmaceutical, personal care, consumer health, medical device, and nutritional communities. This includes sourcing new business opportunities through outbound cold calls, emails and targeted professional organization meetings’ follow up and e-marketing outreach as well as through in-bound lead follow up in response to web-based, phone and referral leads. The Business Development Associate will route qualified potential clients to the appropriate member of TKL’s Business Development team.

Minimum Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 2 years experience in either health sciences, business or communications, preferably in the healthcare industry. Minimum 2 years in direct sales/business development position. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Have the ability to effectively communicate to a wide variety of audiences including potential clients, current sponsors and senior management. Self confidence and adaptability in order to have confidence in handling rejection and moving on quickly to the next priorities. Ability to understanding technical details and scientific concepts related to FDA regulations and GCP/ICH guidelines as they apply to the conduct of clinical research. Excellent organizational skills and an ability to juggle multiple priorities. Demonstrate a collaborative work style with an ability to work and think independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel. Experience in database software; Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Salesforce preferred. This role is based primarily from our Fair Lawn, NJ office.
