Salary: $70,000-$110,000/year
Job Description:
The Senior Accounting and Investment Manager oversees all financial operations and investment activities to ensure fiscal integrity, regulatory compliance, and long-term profitability. This role combines advanced accounting expertise with strategic investment management to guide the company’s financial growth and risk management initiatives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight: Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
Investment Management: Develop, evaluate, and monitor investment strategies, portfolios, and performance to achieve company financial goals and optimize returns.
Strategic Planning: Partner with senior leadership to align accounting and investment initiatives with business objectives and long-term growth strategies.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to all financial, tax, and investment regulations, and coordinate with external auditors, advisors, and regulatory agencies as required.
Risk Management: Identify financial and investment risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and oversee internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Process Improvement: Streamline accounting and reporting processes to enhance operational efficiency and financial transparency.
Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting and finance staff to maintain high performance and professional growth.
Bilingual Communication: Translate and communicate in both English and Korean to ensure effective collaboration across multicultural teams, clients, and financial partners, minimizing miscommunication and supporting global operations.
Qualifications Required:
Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Korean to support communication across multicultural teams, contractors, and clients.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field required; CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting and investment management, including leadership or supervisory roles.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC, and investment compliance standards.
Analytical Ability: Excellent financial analysis, forecasting, and portfolio evaluation skills.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive results under tight deadlines.
Integrity: High ethical standards, sound judgment, and strong attention to detail.
