We are seeking an experienced **Veterinary Assistant** to join our team full time. Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: + Assisting Veterinarians with appointments + Assisting Veterinarians with surgeries and anesthetic dentistry + Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging + Maintaining medical records + Filling prescriptions + Providing compassionate care and a "home away from home" for hospitalized pets + Providing exceptional customer service for our clients The ideal candidate will have: + Experience as a veterinary technician/assistant is required; credentialed (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred but not required + Experience in emergency medicine, surgery, and dentistry + A positive, encouraging and supportive attitude + Excellent communication skills + Flexibility in hours including (but not limited to) evenings, weekends, and holidays + Willingness and capability to be cross-trained in reception and kennel + Working knowledge of computers + Team player mindset, willing to learn new techniques and treatments This is a Day Shift position **Interested?** Apply!
