Job Description

Atlantic Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to join our Acute Care Rehabilitative Services team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered evaluations and treatments to individuals with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders. This is a flexible per diem role, with the opportunity to expand your skills while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing evaluations in acute care with adults.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
• Provide therapy services in accordance with established standards of practice and regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families to support optimal outcomes.
• MBSS competency preferred. FEEs mentorship available .

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, required
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA required; Will consider a CF for the right candidate.
• Experience in the medical field preferred working with adults, preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
• BLS, preferred

About the Team

Atlantic Rehabilitation offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, audiology, wound care management and more. All of which are provided by a highly trained staff comprised of physiatrists; internists; physician assistants; nurse practitioners; rehabilitation nurses; physical, occupational, and recreational therapists; speech-language pathologists; social workers; psychologists; vocational rehabilitation counselors; dieticians; audiologists; and care managers.
