**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
+ Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry or activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines.
+ Maintain accurate logs and/or records of visitor and contractor activity, incidents, and other front desk operations as required.
+ Assist with emergency response activities, such as providing information to emergency responders and/or supporting evacuation procedures when appropriate.
+ Communicate professionally and promptly with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters at the front desk.
+ Remain attentive to the front desk area and observe for any unusual activity or security-related concerns, reporting as needed.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Being 21 years of age or older is required.
+ The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
+ A valid guard card or license is preferred.
+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
