OR Procedural Materials Coordinator FT Days

Job Summary: Contributes to the success of Surgical Procedures by ordering supplies, including equipment determined by surgeons which leads to the successful outcomes of on-time surgeries and expedited room turnover. Reviews the OR schedule in Epic to notate supplies and implants for cases. Creates requisitions for bills and purchase orders, stocks and checks expiration dates.

Job Essentials:

• A minimum of 3 years of materials management experience in a healthcare setting.required.
• Prior experience placing orders for OR procedure supplies, scanning, receiving, and shelving supplies
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with physicians and their offices in preparation for procedures

Education Requirements:

• Associates Degree with 1-2 years specific OR Procedure/OR Supply experience or
• High School Diploma with 3-5 years specific OR Procedure/ OR Supply experience.
