Kennel Attendant
CALLING ALL DOG LOVERS!🐾
Camp Bow Bow is a premier dog daycare and boarding facility where our campers enjoy safe, supervised play, personalized care, and lots of tail wags. Professional experience with dogs is a big plus, but not required - what matters most is a passion for animals and a strong work ethic. We are open 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays, so applicants must have reliable availability for scheduled shifts. Shift Availability:Monday-Saturday:
- 6:30 AM - 1:00 PM.
- 12:00 PM - 7:15 PM.
Position Responsibilities:
Dog Care Specialists play a key role in our campers daily operations, including:
- Supervising and managing group play in our indoor/outdoor play yards.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all campers at all times.
- Recognizing early signs of behavioral or health concerns.
- Feeding campers and assisting with basic care routines.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary facility through daily deep cleaning tasks, including:
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping.
- Scrubbing play areas.
- Taking out trash.
- Using approved cleaning products in accordance with safety regulations.
Qualifications & Traits:
The ideal candidate is:
- Able to take direction and work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
- Able to lift 50lbs and remain on their feet for long periods.
- Confident handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- A strong communicator (verbally and in writing).
- Punctual, dependable, and orangized.
- Enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
- Has reliable transportations.
- Most importantly… has a true passion for dogs!
