We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide Software Engineering and System support for the Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) and National Airspace Data Interchange Network (NADIN) systems, focusing on software development and maintenance activities. This role requires a technical background and the ability to apply engineering principles effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop software solutions utilizing programming languages such as C, C++, and JAVA.

- Participate in software maintenance activities to ensure system reliability and performance.

- Provide technical support for the development, execution, and evaluation of programs, projects, and systems.

- Offer integration support to enhance system interoperability.

- Develop and review technical documents and plans to ensure clarity and compliance with standards.

- Conduct technology evaluations and provide testing and evaluation support.

- Support interoperability testing with other National Airspace System (NAS) systems

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in programming languages including: C, C++, and JAVA

- Understanding of software development and maintenance processes

- Experience in technical documentation and project planning

- Knowledge of engineering principles related to software development

- Ability to conduct technology evaluations and testing

- Knowledge/experience with Jenkins software build pipeline

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

A Bachelor's degree and 6-10 years of experience is required.

Salary Description

$75,000-$115,000
