Bonuses are payable over 6 months.

We are an employee multi-service, non-profit organization serving children and adults with developmental disabilities. We have an opening for an experienced OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST for our school located in Woodbury, NJ . Our school has 70 plus students with moderate to severe autism and other diagnoses between the ages 5-21.

The occupational therapist works with the students on deficits in fine motor skills, sensory motor skills, visual motor and visual perceptual skills, and self-care skills. More specifically, occupational therapists work with students on foundation skills needed for school participation through task analysis, individually selected motor activities, and consultation with team members to modify the environment, the instructional methodology, or to support student achievement on a particular classroom/vocational project.

This position is available on a full-time basis (8:00 am 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday)

Candidates must have:

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in occupational therapy from an approved and accredited occupational therapy program.

· The occupational therapist must have passed the certification examination administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupation Therapy ( NBCOT ).

· The occupational therapist must hold a current NJ License and appropriate NJDOE Certification .
