Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to impact young children's lives? Join the dynamic team at Adventures in Learning as an experienced Afterschool Teacher!
We seek an energetic, enthusiastic, and dependable individual who is patient, compassionate, and friendly. The ideal candidate should be a positive team player with excellent communication skills. This Part-time role requires availability from Monday thru Friday 11:00AM to 7:30 PM. Key Responsibilities
- Build Strong Relationships: Develop nurturing bonds with children and their parents.
- Maintain Classroom Hygiene: Ensure a clean and healthy environment, following proper hygiene and diapering procedures.
- Stimulate Growth and Development: Create a learning atmosphere that fosters children's growth.
- Professional Development: Complete at least 10 hours of annual training, provided by our center.
- Certification: Must be CPR and First Aid certified (training provided).
Ideal Candidate
- Experience: Previous classroom experience in childcare or preschool settings is required.
- Passion for Teaching: Love for children and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching.
- Professionalism: Reliable with a professional demeanor.
- Creativity: Ability to creatively transform the classroom to reflect seasons and holidays.
