Supervisor Promotions Special Events
About the Role
The Supervisor Promotions Special Events will assist in the planning, preparation, communication, set-up and close-out, and onsite execution of Special Events and Promotions.
Position Responsibilities
- Understands and explains programs and benefits to team members and customers
- Enrolls prospects into the Ocean Rewards program, updates existing information, issues cards and emphasizes the rewards and benefits of the Ocean Rewards Card Program
- Recommend improvements as related to customer feedback
- Must be able to amicably resolve customer and team member related problems quickly and professionally
- Comply with all New Jersey regulatory requirements, Departmental and Company policies including Ocean Casino Resort business ethics guidelines
- Maintain confidentiality of all Ocean Casino Resort trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information
- Builds a strong special events and loyalty team that delivers high quality guest satisfaction, excitement and fun
- Understands and explains the rules and regulations of Ocean Casino Resort programs and promotions to guests and employees
- Emphasizes the rewards and benefits of the Ocean Rewards Card Program to promote guest awareness
- Plans and coordinates all activities and/or functions pertaining to special events and promotions
- Responsible for new hire acquisitions and scheduling
- Implements and executes the logistical plans for special events and promotions
- Monitors the dissemination of prizes, gifts and/or tickets related to special events
- Manages complimentary ticket distribution at the Box Office as needed
Essential Functions
- Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs.
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25lbs
- Computer experience required. Experience with Konami/Synkros and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred

- Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $49,000 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.
