Senior UI/UX Engineer
Kforce has a client in need of a Senior UI/UX Engineer in Jersey City, NJ. Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical SME for one or more enterprise applications
- Partner with Business Systems Analysts to ensure solutions meet functional requirements
- Collaborate with Infrastructure to define and deploy optimal hosting environments
- Optimize application performance and resolve technical issues
- Research and apply technical solutions aligned with enterprise standards
- Design, build, test, and support application components across the SDLC
- Develop unit and functional test cases to meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Support development, testing, troubleshooting, and production environments
- Apply appropriate development methodologies based on project needs
- Embed risk and control practices into daily work and escalate issues as needed
- Contribute to continuous integration, continuous delivery, and improved ways of working
- 6-8+ years of related professional experience; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of hands-on Java and J2EE development experience with Java 17 or higher
- Strong backend development experience with Spring Boot and REST API design
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices including Git, Jenkins, Maven, and JaCoCo
- Strong database and PL/SQL skills with Oracle and Snowflake experience preferred
- Experience with cloud and container platforms including AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Exposure to XML, XSD, JSON, and data integration formats
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with unit testing and code coverage using JUnit 5, Mockito, and PowerMock
- Solid understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
