We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting & Business Operations Associate with a degree in accounting or similar field and 2+ years of related experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys contact with clients, thrives on problem-solving, takes initiative, and can manage client accounts, bookkeeping, and office workflows with minimal supervision. Tax knowledge is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client accounts, including accounts receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.

• Maintain and organize client documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Support client onboarding and workflow setup, identifying ways to improve efficiency.

• Assist with bookkeeping and basic accounting tasks, resolving discrepancies independently.

• Take initiative on office and process improvements, solving operational challenges.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and self-reliance: Able to take ownership of tasks, stay focused, and follow through with minimal supervision.

• Client interaction skills: Handles phone calls, walk-ins, and inquiries professionally and independently.

• Accounting & financial skills: Experience with accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and basic bookkeeping.

• CRM and software proficiency: Familiarity with Karbon, Canopy, or similar systems; proficient in Microsoft Office and spreadsheets.

• Problem-solving & initiative: Proactive in identifying issues, finding solutions, and improving workflows.

• Organizational skills: Maintains accurate records, organizes client documentation, and manages multiple tasks efficiently.

• Adaptability & learning mindset: Quickly learns new systems and procedures, and adjusts to changing priorities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or client/account support.
