Registered Nurse
- Assists physician during procedures.
- Does patient assessment and monitoring for pre procedures with documentation
- Provides post clinical patient care and reevaluations as per specific procedure to include documentation and discharge instructions.
- Coordinates with other members of the healthcare team, the delivery of care for assigned patients.
- Assist in scheduling Interventional Procedures.
- Conducts patient education before test performs follow up when necessary.
- Provides post clinical patient reevaluations as per specific procedure.
- Act as a resource person to other healthcare personnel on radiology patient care issue.
- Float to other procedural areas in the hospital which include and not limited to the Interventional Radiology, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Same Day Surgery, and/ or Endoscopy.
Graduate of an accredited program in nursing. Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of NJ. Certifications required: BLS (American Heart Association) Minimum Work Experience
One year Radiology experience preferred. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Must be willing to work holidays, weekends and provide additional coverage as needed
