What you’ll do in the role:

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking an Associate, Application Developer in Menlo Park, CA to write reusable, testable, and efficient computer software code. Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant software applications. Implement security and data protection. Integrate data storage software solutions like MySQL, CassandraDB, Firebase etc. Accessibility and security compliance. User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments. Create database schemas that represent and support business processes. Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

What you’ll bring to the role:

-Requires Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, or a related field of study

-Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Sr. Engineer, IT Analyst, or a closely related occupation.

-Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills:

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $165,500 and $165,500 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
