What You Will Be Doing

• Designing academic frameworks that turn learning science into actionable curriculum, motivation systems, and app development guidance.
• Overseeing academic execution across various Heads of Academics, ensuring alignment and accountability for school teams to achieve outstanding results.
• Conducting comprehensive reviews that synthesize data and insights to identify key barriers to accelerated learning and recommend effective interventions.
• Facilitating strategic alignment through meticulous planning, feedback mechanisms, and milestone tracking focused on student achievement.
• Representing 2 Hour Learning on prestigious platforms, influencing educational paradigms at conferences and with educational policymakers globally.

Director Of Educational Strategy Key Responsibilities

Drive the expansion and enhancement of 2 Hour Learning’s successful academic model by harmonizing execution across schools, reinforcing leadership excellence, and serving as the public advocate for a scientifically-backed and results-oriented educational movement.

Basic Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related discipline.
• Over 7 years of experience in leading academic or EdTech teams, with a proven track record of outstanding learning outcomes.
• Demonstrated expertise in applying AI or technology to enhance learning processes.
• Acknowledged public thought leader through media presence, keynote speeches, publications, or advisory roles.
• Exceptional performance management skills to uphold high standards among top-tier peers.
• Proficient in data interpretation to diagnose educational challenges and implement solutions.
• Skilled in engaging with students, parents, and educational leaders directly.

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Experience founding or leading a pioneering school model, lab school, or successful EdTech initiative.
• Background in navigating diverse cultural, political, or international educational environments.
• Extensive knowledge of Bloom’s 2 Sigma research and other mastery learning methodologies.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
