Laboratory Technician
Location: : Princeton, NJ
Work Model : Onsite
Employment: Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential extension up to 1 year)
Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate : $20/hour Responsibilities
- Prepare laundry product formulations (detergents and softeners)
- Measure pH, specific gravity, and viscosity
- Perform stability and performance testing
- Conduct fragrance evaluations using test panels
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper lab housekeeping
- Support fabric care testing within the Laundry Lab group
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related science
- Recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Transcripts and/or diploma required if hired
- Hands-on laboratory experience (academic experience acceptable)
- Experience or familiarity with wet chemistry techniques such as:
- PH measurement
- Viscosity
- Titrations
- Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs (e.g., detergent and related products)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-priority environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Good organizational and documentation skills, including accurate lab notebook maintenance
- Basic computer skills
- Team-oriented mindset
