Quality Security Services is seeking a reliable and professional Temporary Security Officer to support operations at a warehouse facility with a structured and well-managed environment, including a central command center. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, alert, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access by checking employee badges and screening bags
- Conduct routine patrols of the warehouse and surrounding areas
- Operate within a command center environment, including monitoring cameras and alarm systems
- Follow established post orders and site-specific procedures
- Respond to incidents and report any suspicious activity or safety concerns
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid SORA Card
- Must have CPR Certification (preferred through Red Cross or American Heart Association)
- Prior security experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable and punctual
Schedule & Flexibility:
- Temporary/contract position
- Must be flexible and available to pick up day or afternoon shifts as needed
- OVER NIGHTS STRONGLY NEEDED
- Day shifts
Rate:
- $22.00 Day Shifts
- $23.00 Overnight Shifts
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting with a clean and organized environment
- Includes both foot patrol and command center monitoring duties
