Pool Service Tech
The Pool & Spa Place – Cranbury, NJ
Description: The Pool & Spa Place has been serving the Central NJ community for over 30 years as a premier retailer, service provider and pool builder. We are seeking a team oriented and motivated pool and spa service technician who is committed to excellent customer service with an ability to make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities:
- Pool & spa openings, closings and service calls
- Review work orders with service manager daily
- Clean and service pools and balance water chemistry properly
- Repair, install and replace pool equipment (pool pumps, filters, chlorinators, etc
- Stock and re-stock vehicle with necessary equipment daily and maintain accurate inventory
- Perform routine and specialized pool maintenance, including chemical testing, balancing, skimming, brushing, and vacuuming
- Ability to spot equipment repair needs and communicate those needs to the office
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Follow all safety procedures related to tools, equipment, and chemicals
- Assist with the care and maintenance of company equipment
- Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of all pool service performed using company software
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year work experience as a pool technician, ideally 3+ years
- Valid/clean NJ Drivers License and reliable transportation to get to the office
- Able to lift approximately 65+ pounds
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Hourly rate based on experience + OT
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven customer‑service skills and strong verbal and written communication.
