Property Manager

Job Title: Property Manager
Location: Barnegat & Waretown, NJ
This position will be working for two apartment properties in Barnegat & Waretown, NJ

Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $62,000 - $65,000 annually
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Monday-Friday

Property Manager Job Duties:

• Oversee daily operations, administration, maintenance, and overall property performance.

• Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance, major repairs, renovations, and construction projects.

• Manage property financials, including rent collection, assistance payments, and expense tracking.

• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance.

• Serve as the primary liaison between property owners, onsite staff, tenants, and maintenance teams.

• Show available units to prospective tenants and explain lease terms, policies, and community features.

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to reduce vacancies and attract qualified residents.

• Maintain accurate property records, including maintenance logs, operating costs, permits, and occupancy status.

• Enforce community guidelines, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and professional environment.

• Resolve tenant concerns and conflicts professionally to promote positive resident relations.

• Complete additional administrative and operational duties as needed.

Property Manager Job Requirements:

• Three to five years of related experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with ability to train others.
• Understanding of laws, guidelines, and best practices of property management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
