Bergen Community College is accepting applications for adjunct positions in the division of Business, Arts and Social Sciences for Summer and Fall 2026. Below are the disciplines we are currently hiring for and the requirements for each.

Economics Department:

Bergen Community College is seeking qualified adjunct instructors to teach Economics courses for the Spring 2026 semester. We are looking for dedicated educators who can deliver high-quality instruction in both traditional and partially online learning environments.

Schedule Availability Required:

• Morning classes (availability required)
• Afternoon classes (availability required)

Delivery Modalities:

• Fully in-person instruction
• Hybrid format (combination of in-person and online asynchronous components)

Candidates must be available to teach in either modality and demonstrate flexibility in adapting their pedagogical approach to meet the needs of diverse learning environments.

Education:

• Master's degree in Economics or a closely related field (required)

Experience:

• At least one year of college-level teaching experience (preferred)
• Experience with hybrid or online instruction formats (preferred)
• Familiarity with Canvas (preferred)

Rates and Benefits:

• Adjuncts with a Master's receive $960 per credit.
• Tuition Waiver for BCC courses for themselves or their dependents
• ABP and 403b retirement plans
