Job Title: Intake Coordinator (Legal)
Location: Newark, NJ
Pay Rate: $24 - $26 /hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:
A growing legal services organization in Newark, NJ is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients. This role is critical in delivering a strong first impression while gathering and organizing key information to support case evaluation and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer inbound calls and respond to online inquiries from prospective clients

• Conduct initial intake screenings and gather detailed client information

• Accurately enter and update information in the company’s database/CRM

• Schedule consultations and coordinate follow-ups with potential clients

• Communicate clearly and professionally via phone and email

• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Track and manage intake pipeline to ensure timely follow-up

• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure smooth client onboarding

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in intake, customer service, call center, or administrative roles

• Experience in a legal environment is a plus but not required

• Strong phone presence and communication skills

• High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and data entry tools

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
