Position Summary: Assist physicians and allied healthcare staff in performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac/endovascular procedures. Utilizes knowledge of pathophysiology to ensure patients are prepared/educated/supported during procedures. A strong critical care experience to recognize/handle emergency situations. On Call availability is required.

Experience:

\n

Required: 1-3 years Critical Care experience and or Cath Lab experience. BLS and ACLS. EKG interpretation.

\n

Preferred : Previous Cath Lab experience.

\n

Education: Diploma/Associates degree required. BSN is preferred.

\n

License and Credentials: NJ RN license required. CCRN or RCIS is preferred.

\n

Skills:

\n

Required : IV certification, excellent communication/interpersonal skills, flexibility, diplomacy, tact, foresight. Performs well in high stress, fast paced environment.

\n

Preferred: Sterile technique, preparing for sterile procedures.

\n

Bi-Weekly Hours: 80 hours

\n

Work Schedule : M - F 7 am - 5:30 pm

\n

The minimum starting rate for this position is $47.08

\n

When determining a team members base rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of recent relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
