A well-established, family-owned neighborhood tavern in Eastampton, NJ is hiring a full-time Kitchen Manager to lead back-of-house operations. This role is ideal for a BOH leader who values consistency, teamwork, and a respectful kitchen culture while running a busy scratch kitchen.
The kitchen is known for fresh seafood, steaks, and made-from-scratch dishes , served in a community-focused tavern environment with supportive ownership.

Schedule
- Full-time
- 5 days per week
- Nights and weekends required
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily back-of-house operations in a busy neighborhood tavern
- Manage ordering, receiving, vendor communication, and inventory
- Maintain food quality, recipe accuracy, and portion consistency
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe preferred)
- Train, schedule, and motivate a BOH team of 5–10 employees
- Keep the kitchen organized, efficient, and guest-focused
What You Bring
- Prior BOH leadership experience (Kitchen Manager, Chef, Sous Chef, or Lead Line Cook)
- Strong scratch-kitchen and recipe execution skills
- Experience with inventory, ordering, and food cost awareness
- Calm, organized, and respectful leadership style
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long shifts
- Reliable work history and professional communication
