Compensation:

1. Salary: $13.50-$15.50/hr based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide transportation for residents to and from medical appointments, social activities, and other approved destinations
2. This position will be a transportation aide transporting new admissions from mostly the Lexington, KY area to our 3 buildings in Somerset, Pineville, and Cumberland Kentucky
3. Ensure trips are completed in a timely and efficient manner
4. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of residents
5. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
6. Report any maintenance issues or incidents to the supervisor
7. Assist residents with boarding and alighting, ensuring safety and comfort
8. Secure wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility aids
9. Maintain accurate records of trips, including times, destinations, and any incidents
10. Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare providers, and staff
11. Provide friendly and courteous service
12. Address concerns from residents or their families professionally

Qualifications:

1. Valid driver’s license in State of Kentucky with a clean driving record
2. Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in State of Kentucky
3. Previous driving experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
4. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
5. Compassionate, patient, and able to work well under pressure
