Job Overview:

The Service Estimator is responsible for bidding any and all WOs and RFPs deemed as Service WOs throughout the organization. This includes establishing client pricing with Account Managers, developing accurate SOW in alignment with company and client expectations and developing pricing based on client expectations and company profit margin goals.

Directly Reports To : Account Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Review any and all vendor related estimates to ensure they are accurate and within alignment of customer expectations and industry pricing.
• Communicate with vendors with any estimate revisions or clarification needed
• Understand each client’s expectations in direction of Account Manager’s and company goals to establish accurate pricing and mark up limits on each estimate
• Understand and add any and all disclaimers to protect Sheer Enterprises from unforeseen or negative outcomes on any project and add at time of bidding project estimate
• Create SOW based on Sheer’s preferred verbiage and bidding flow.
• Create standardized bidding tools to help expedite the bidding process including pricing sheets within system and client specific SOW for re-occurring and/or typical project works.
• Negotiate pricing with sub-contractors prior to bidding project if required
• Work with Account Managers on client expectations and/or project specific questions prior to finalizing bids
• Maintain consistent bidding completion to expedite bids within KPIs and timelines to ensure timelines are being addressed in proper manner.
• Submit bids for Account Management review prior to sending proposal to client.
• Submit all bids to client based on client’s preferred method of receiving proposals.

Required Meetings:

· Weekly KPI Meeting with Account Managers

Candidate Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of commercial construction estimating experience
• 4 year college degree is preferred
• Prior working knowledge of Service Channel, OfficeTrax, Corrigo as well as other customer portal systems is required
• Able to utilize excel as addition tools for developing bids and/or organization tool
• Knowledge and exposure to restaurant construction is highly desirable.
• Must be legally able to work in US without sponsorship required at time of hire
• Excellent technical skills, including using computers, the internet and file sharing required.
• Strong personal management skills, dedication and organization required.
