We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage accounting operations, payroll, collections, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong analytical ability, and ensure accuracy in every aspect of financial management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage weekly payroll for employees, including live checks and direct deposits, ensuring timely and accurate submission.

  • Oversee all aspects of bookkeeping including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, collections , and bank reconciliations .

  • Prepare and maintain accrual-based accounting entries to ensure accurate financial statements.

  • Handle client billing, invoicing, and collections , following up on outstanding balances and reconciling client accounts.

  • Process and submit W-2s, 1099s , and assist with year-end tax filings .

  • Collaborate with the company’s CPA firm to support audits, tax filings, and compliance reviews.

  • Maintain detailed and organized financial records for vendors, clients, and employees .

  • Support management with financial reports, budgeting, and variance analysis .

  • Implement and monitor internal accounting controls to safeguard company assets.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local/state/federal regulations, and GAAP standards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (preferably within the staffing, payroll, or professional services industries).

  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Excel ..

  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and accuracy under deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Compensation

  • Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 annually

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm full-time (in-office)

  • Benefits: PTO and 401(k)
