POSITION SUMMARY:

The Birthday Party & Event Coordinator will effectively manage and supervise all aspects of the birthday party experience at the complex. The team member is expected to provide excellent guest service while working with customers to create a great Birthday Party experience. This position is responsible for guiding all birthday team members and directing them to parties as well as serving as their supervisor by training and making sure each understands his or her responsibilities. This position involves working with guest services, food and beverage departments, and management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Responsible for coordinating and scheduling birthday parties.
• Interacting and assisting guests as needed
• Assist with parties from set up to take down
• Stock, maintain and clean the birthday rooms as necessary throughout parties
• Lead and direct team members on party days
• Contact customers prior to parties to go over details and finalize the party
• Schedule birthday team members for parties

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Flexible work schedule (e.g., weeknights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance are necessary
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Must have excellent guest service skills
• Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
• Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders, and fellow Team Members
• Must work well with children and peers
• Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and venue
• Commitment to the safety and well-being of others
• Reliable transportation

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to lift 30 pounds waist high
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend
• The facility has intermittent noise
