The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Mental Health Worker will work with adult consumers residing in a 15 bed community based residence who are diagnosed with a Severe and Persistent Mental Illness. The candidate will support consumers in their wellness and recovery towards independent living.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in mental health field
• Valid NJ Driver's License required with no restrictions
• CPR/First/AED preferred, will be provided if certificate is not active.
• Bilingual skills appreciated

Scheduling Requirements:

• Coverage for evening / overnight availability
• Minimum 24 hours per month - one must be a weekend shift
• 2 holidays per year

Essential Functions:

• Support provided includes case management, medication supervision, skills building, community integration, identifying a crisis, and applying appropriate interventions - in-depth training provided on site
• Mental Health Workers will support other team members in providing a clean and therapeutic environment.
