JOB SUMMARY: The Acadian Health Field Supervisor is responsible for the overall performance, culture, and professional behavior of the care team based at a designated Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) operations site. This role provides clinical and operational oversight to medics and nurses delivering in-home care as part of the Mobile Integrated Healthcare or Hospital at Home program. Responsibilities include staff supervision, training, quality assurance, operational readiness, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and healthcare partners.

EQUIPMENT: Mobile health documentation systems (e.g., tablets, mobile EHRs), clinical tools to include but not limited to suction devices, AED or cardiac monitor, 12 lead EKG, oxygen and oxygen deliver adjuncts, diagnostic tools (glucometers, pulse oximeters, BP cuffs), point of care testing equipment,

telehealth platforms, and any necessary medical equipment used in homebased care delivery.

  1. Works an assigned clinical shift, providing care to patients in a frontline clinical role.
  2. Provide day-to-day oversight and mentoring of MIH clinicians (medics and nurses).
  3. Coaches employees, providing professional and personal guidance, aimed at optimizing performance and morale.
  4. Responsible for employee documentation and maintenance of the computerized employee profile system (i.e., commendations, counseling’s, attendance, incident reports, etc.).
  5. Set expectations for professional conduct and performance, ensuring alignment with program goals.
  6. Promote a collaborative, patient-centered culture at the base location and at the command center.
  7. Ensure daily readiness of personnel, vehicles, and equipment.
  8. Assist in scheduling, shift coverage, and deployment of resources.
  9. Support performance improvement efforts by tracking visit metrics, documentation compliance, and patient feedback.
  10. Monitor clinical care for adherence to protocols and standards.
  11. Conduct documentation reviews and case audits.
  12. Participate in staff education, simulation, and case debriefings.
  13. Serve as liaison between frontline staff and leadership.
  14. Communicate updates, policy changes, and performance feedback.
  15. Build relationships with partner hospitals, physician groups, and referral sources.
  16. Represent the MIH program in community and healthcare settings.
  17. Assist in onboarding new staff, piloting new care models, and special projects.
  18. Participate in data collection and strategic planning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Valid licensure as a Paramedic or Registered Nurse in the practicing state.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience (preferably in EMS, critical care, or home health).
  3. Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
  4. Knowledge of MIH/CP programs and home-based care delivery is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENT :

  1. Must be able to enter a variety of home environments.
  2. Able to lift 25–50 lbs of equipment.
  3. Capable of prolonged periods of driving, walking, and patient interaction in home settings.
