Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position is for a Social Worker supporting an elementary school setting in Camden, NJ. The role is a temporary contract covering a maternity leave, with a start date in mid-August and concluding in early October. Weekly hours range from 32 to 37.5.

Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive social work services to students from kindergarten through 5th grade, with a focus on counseling and supporting students with special education needs. The Social Worker will manage Individualized Education Program (IEP) cases, collaborating closely with school staff, families, and external agencies to ensure student success.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A valid Licensed Social Worker credential
• School Social Worker Certification
• Experience with IEP case management preferred
• Strong background in special education and student counseling
• Ability to manage caseloads effectively for elementary-aged children (K-5)
