Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Architect - Quality Engineering (QE) to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise test automation solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Playwright, Selenium, API automation, microservices testing, and automation framework architecture, along with strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

This role requires defining automation strategies, driving quality engineering best practices, and enabling scalable test automation across complex enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise-wide automation architecture and quality engineering strategies
• Design scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium (Java)
• Lead API automation efforts using Rest Assured and microservices testing methodologies
• Develop automation solutions for:
  • Web applications
  • APIs
  • ETL/Data validation
  • Backend services
• Establish automation standards, governance models, and best practices
• Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, product, and business teams to improve quality processes
• Drive test data management and automation reporting strategies
• Evaluate and integrate automation tools including TOSCA and other enterprise testing platforms
• Mentor QA engineers and automation teams on framework development and automation best practices
• Provide technical leadership and stakeholder communication throughout project delivery

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise digital transformation programs
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments
• Experience implementing Shift-Left and Continuous Testing practices
• Knowledge of performance testing and test observability tools
