Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team at Diggerland USA. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and driving sales of group experiences, including corporate events, large gatherings, campouts, and birthday parties . This position will focus on cultivating new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and ensuring smooth coordination between sales and operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
The Sales Manager will work onsite at Diggerland USA and report directly to the Park President .
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals for group sales, including corporate events, private functions, birthday parties, and specialty experiences.
Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities with corporations, schools, camps, organizations, and community groups.
Maintain strong relationships with current clients to maximize repeat and referral business.
Collaborate with the park's operations, food & beverage, and events teams to ensure seamless execution of group events.
Create proposals, contracts, and pricing packages tailored to client needs while maintaining profitability.
Represent Diggerland USA at networking events, trade shows, and community outreach programs to build awareness and generate leads.
Manage the sales pipeline, track progress, and provide regular reports to the Park President.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to position Diggerland USA as the premier group event destination.
Assist in developing promotional materials, sales collateral, and marketing campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
Provide outstanding customer service and serve as a brand ambassador for Diggerland USA.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
3+ years of experience in sales, event sales, or hospitality sales (theme park, attractions, or event venue experience a plus).
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Highly organized with excellent time-management skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work onsite with flexibility for weekends, evenings, or special events as needed.
