• Location: Hopewell Campus, Pennington, NJ (New Jersey healthcare jobs)\n
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends, No on-call)\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Hours per Week: 40\n
• Pay Rate: $83.70/hr\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2030–$2190\n
• Treatment Equipment: Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator\n
• Patient Volume: Approximately 35–40 patients per day, shared between 2 radiation therapists\n

\n\nRadiation Therapist Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist\n
• Valid NJ State License – Radiation Therapist\n
• ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)\n
• AHA BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)\n
• Proficient in operating linear accelerators independently\n
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist and above\n
• Frequent standing, walking, pushing/pulling, and patient positioning required\n

\n\nRadiation Therapist Responsibilities\n

• Administer daily radiation treatments according to physician prescription\n
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and setup for each session\n
• Educate and support patients throughout their radiation therapy\n
• Verify all treatment parameters prior to beam delivery\n
• Maintain precise and up-to-date treatment documentation\n
• Operate radiation therapy equipment with minimal supervision\n
