Corporate Finance Intern
The Corporate Finance Intern will rotate through our Finance, Corporate Development, and Financial Systems groups. They will conduct financial analysis, provide analytical support, input and interpret data, and help with daily tasks as required. The position will report directly to the EVP, Chief Growth Officer.
Responsibilities:Provide financial analysis by gathering financial data from various operational and accounting sources and transforming the data into useful information
Provide analytical support across the business as needed and summarize information in a clear and articulate manner
Interpret data and prepares comparative variance analyses
Research acquisition targets in the 3PL and logistics industry
Assist in the proactive outreach and sourcing of new deals by organizing data
Input financial information on M&A targets
Sort and organize financial and non-financial data
Maintain and develop various financial spreadsheets and standard templates for various uses; maintains databases by entering, verifying, and backing up data
Assist in developing automated applications and processes as part of continuous improvement projects
Qualifications:
Current Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Analytics
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and the Google Suite
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Collaborative and a team player
We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $22/hour. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay.
