Experienced Automotive Sales Professional
Dayton Toyota, a family-owned dealership with nearly 60 years of service, is seeking EXPERIENCED Automotive Sales Professionals to join our award-winning team. As one of the first Toyota Dealers in the United States, we pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service, having received the prestigious Toyota President's Award 11 times. Our dealership offers a low-pressure, positive sales environment where you can thrive. We provide a competitive commission structure, with our average commission currently at $689 per unit, consistently above the industry average for over three years. Join us and take advantage of a $5,200 signing bonus for those with car sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and guide customers as they arrive on the lot to initiate the sales process.
- Assist customers in finding a vehicle that meets their needs using current inventory information.
- Enhance the sales process by demonstrating vehicle features on the lot.
- Assist customers in completing their sales applications.
- Collaborate with management to increase sales by inspecting the lot’s vehicles daily and reporting any issues.
- Ensure the lot is merchandised correctly to maximize sales.
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday.
- Outgoing and friendly, especially while handling objections.
- Proven customer service skills and sales track record.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.
- Persuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales process.
- Proficient in basic business math, including percentages.
- Capable of learning and using proprietary sales programs.
- Persistent, competitive, and possessing a strong work ethic.
- Focuses on the customer’s needs to enhance dealership and personal sales.
