Job Title: Engineering Technician – Digital Documentation Support
Location: Lakewood, NJ

Type: 3-5 Month Project, On-Site
Compensation: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour
Hours: Full-Time, Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Engineering Technician Overview:
We are seeking a recent Engineering graduate (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree) for a short-term opportunity supporting a digital documentation initiative within a modern medical device manufacturing facility serving customers globally.
This role is ideal for someone looking to gain real-world experience in manufacturing operations, quality systems, and ERP-based documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Engineering Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist in converting paper-based forms and work instructions into digital formats.
• Support the setup and maintenance of electronic workflows within an ERP system.
• Help organize and update engineering and quality documentation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather information and support documentation updates.
• Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Assist with data entry, tracking updates, and maintaining organized records.
• Support testing and basic troubleshooting of electronic forms and workflows.
• Prepare simple reports, spreadsheets, and documentation using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Assist Engineering and Operations teams with day-to-day documentation needs.
• Follow established quality and documentation standards.
• Support general process improvement and administrative tasks as needed.

Engineering Technician Requirements:

• Recent graduate with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Internship, co-op, or school project experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Interest in manufacturing, engineering systems, or quality processes.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing settings.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally walk through production areas; ability to lift up to 20 lbs as needed.
