Paralegal
Workers' Compensation Paralegal (Haddonfield, NJ Based):

Pond Lehocky Giordano seeks a Paralegal to join our highly successful workers' compensation team. Employee will need to be able to work in a face-paced environment, have a strong ability to multitask, be a team player and have a positive attitude. Most importantly we are looking for someone who will have empathy for our clients and great customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Prepare for all hearings; mediations; fact witness depositions (including preparation of exhibits)
- Review Stipulations
- AWW/TTD calculations
- Review daily checks (fees, costs)
- Attend paralegal team meetings via Teams
- Draft letters and documents
- Answer calls from adjusters, opposing counsel, clients and healthcare providers
- Handle daily uploading and obtaining of relevant case information from the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation management system, WCAIS or the State equivalent system
- Enter attorney appearance via mail and/or WCAIS
- Answer attorney direct line and monitors email; serving as liaison between attorney and clients by resolving routine and some complex inquiries
- Prepare responses to counsel, adjusters, and judges
- Scan documents into client files
- Schedule client appointments and/or telephone conferences
- Maintain client’s file in case management system, updating information as necessary
- Other Responsibilities & Duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a paralegal role required;
- Minimum of 2 years of New Jersey Workers Compensation experience strongly encouraged;
- College degree or paralegal certificate preferred
- Experience with Litify Case Management preferred
