Therapist
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Practice Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth. This position offers a flexible schedule with opportunities for both in-person and telehealth sessions, empowering you to make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives while maintaining professional autonomy. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches. Implement crisis intervention techniques to support clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies or behavioral crises. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ICD coding standards (ICD-9, ICD-10). Collaborate with other healthcare providers, case managers, educators, and support staff to coordinate care plans for clients with complex needs such as developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Engage in clinical research or data collection initiatives to enhance treatment efficacy and contribute to the broader mental health community. Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent state credential. LSW, LAC also welcomed to apply. Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, geriatrics, or patients with chronic pain. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering remote counseling sessions effectively. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse populations; experience in group therapy is a plus. Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently while providing compassionate support.
