We are committed to providing valuable learning experience and mentorship to support professional development and growth. Position Summary:
The intern will work closely with our team of project management professionals to support various aspects of clinical drug development including strategic planning among global, cross-functional projects designed and coordinated to achieve the organization's strategy. Performance Objectives:
- Support project planning efforts for global development programs under the direction of the Global Project Management Lead.
- Communicate and collaborate with project management department members and functional global development team members within the organization.
- Support Project Management organization and Global Product Development Team initiatives, including process improvement, monitoring of objectives/goals and tracking deliverables.
- Assist with project timeline and budget for a drug development project and ensure the project scope is aligned across various tracking and reporting systems.
- Attend team meetings, training sessions, and other department activities as needed.
- Adhere to all relevant regulatory guidelines, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Education/Certification Requirements:
- In a Bachelor's degree program, rising junior or senior, in a relevant science, engineering, business or math field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong interest in product development strategy and business operations of the drug development process, including clinical research development spanning Phase I-IV.
- Desire to participate in complex pharmaceutical research and development projects and initiatives in a multi-disciplinary, global matrix team environment.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
- Prior knowledge of global drug research & development preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with AI-driven tools and intelligent agents for data analysis and workflow automation preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Project planning tools (e.g. MS Project, Monday.com, Smartsheet, etc.) preferred but not required.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $18 - $22 hourly. This pay range is based on the market range for positions of this type. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
