**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly environment.
+ Assist visitors, staff, and patients with security-related inquiries and directions as needed.
+ Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site staff to support the overall security-related needs of the healthcare location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
+ Hospital staff must provide proof of required vaccines.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
