A Day in the Life

You clock in and review the day’s production plan, syncing with our CNC Programming Lead. You prep raw materials, load parts, and monitor multiple CNC programs for production runs. Throughout each cycle, you verify dimensions with calipers and micrometers, compare results to blueprints and shop drawings, and make adjustments as needed. You troubleshoot basic issues, keep machines maintained, and help keep the shop clean and safe. You wrap the day by documenting work orders you processed independently or with minimal instruction, and share insights with a small, collaborative team.

Core Responsibilities

• Run and monitor multiple CNC programs for production runs in partnership with the CNC Programming Lead
• Prepare and load raw material and parts onto machines
• Perform in-process inspections and continuously monitor machines for errors
• Process work orders independently or with minimal supervision
• Troubleshoot basic manufacturing issues
• Complete daily machine maintenance and contribute to a clean, safe shop
• Collaborate within a small, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with related experience/training
• Technical or associate degree a plus
• CNC Certification or completion of CNC trade school is a major plus
• 2–3 years of relevant experience highly preferred and will strengthen your application
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a bonus
• Ability to utilize calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions
• Basic hand tool and machinist skills recommended
• Familiarity with blueprint and shop drawing reading
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Move within an office and active manufacturing/warehousing and production environment
• Handle average-weight objects up to 50 pounds; push, pull, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear
• Wear safety glasses and other required safety equipment while on the production floor
