What you’ll be doing...

Drive the SDN automation software development. Proactive technology research, industry trend analysis, and developing next generation network architecture using modern networking technology (e.g., Software Defined Networking) and providing production deployable solutions are key functions of the team. Recommend software design, product integration strategies, networking platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices. Design, develop, debug the software and improve the performance of existing software. Software Defined Networking (SDN) ecosystem development and vendor management. Open API (REST/RESTCONF/NETCONF) and data modeling (YANG) verification and development. Test automation and regression test suits design and development.

What we’re looking for...

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications or a related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Senior Software Engineer, Principal Software Engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 6 years in network software automation architecture, design and documentation; software automation development using Java, Python and Groovy; software testing, integration and interfacing (REST, OpenAPI, RestConf); software scaling (Kubernetes, Kubernetes API’s, MongoDB); and network systems configurations (Net conf protocol) of cisco, Juniper and other networking vendors. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience, employer will accept a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above and 3 years of experience in the above skill sets. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.

RATE OF PAY: $179,982.00 to $263,000.00

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.
