About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Princeton headquarters and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. In this on-site position, you will report directly to the Controller, leading core accounting processes, supporting AP/AR functions within NetSuite, and driving adherence to GAAP standards.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical financial workflows, collaborate across departments, and contribute to building a strong, compliant, and scalable accounting function.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and amortizations.
• Oversee and support the AP & AR Analysts, including training and guidance on NetSuite best practices.
• Ensure accuracy across the general ledger, bank reconciliations, credit card activity, and intercompany accounts.
• Prepare, analyze, and present internal and external financial reports.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation, schedules, and records.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and cross-functional support to Finance, Operations, and HR teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA designation strongly preferred.
• 5–10 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or media environment.
• Hands-on experience managing the full accounting cycle within ERP systems.
• Proficiency with NetSuite ERP strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

• 📍 Location: Princeton, NJ (on-site, Monday–Friday)
• 💰 Compensation: $85,000-$115,000 (dependent on experience level)
