We are looking for an Accounts Payable professional to join our team! The Accounts Payable role will involve reviewing, entering, and processing invoices promptly to support the department's and the company's growth and success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Batch invoices for processing in accounting software
• Match packing slips to purchase orders
• Coordinate daily with other departments on purchase orders, parts, jobs and status of accounts with vendors
• Process and track company expenses ( ie: utilities, office supplies, etc.)
• Update current vendor information and add new vendors to system
• Manage Use Tax on invoices
• Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team regarding tax-exempt certificates and urban enterprise zone certificates, share them with the relevant departments, monitor their expiration dates, and modify the necessary purchase orders.
• Process all vendor credits
• Review vendor statements and reconcile any differences
• Notify vendor when invoices are missing a PO number
• Process checks that were submitted for semi-monthly check run
• Keep vendors apprised of expected payments and time frames
• Courtesy emails to vendors when check is being mailed
• Manage subcontractor agreements and their Certificates of Insurance
• All other duties as assigned by management

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Some college preferred

Three to five years of experience in A/P

Three to five years in general office experience
