IT FIELD TECHNICIAN - LEVEL 1

We're looking for an IT Field Technician - Level 1 who wants more than just closing tickets. Someone who takes pride in solving problems others can't and values the freedom to grow while being supported every step of the way. In this role, you'll be making a real difference every day for businesses and organizations that count on us to keep them running. One day you might be troubleshooting a stubborn Windows issue or configuring a firewall, and the next you could be setting up a new network or responding to a critical on-site outage. You'll work both remotely and on-site across Central, North, and Northwest New Jersey, with occasional trips into New York City. Along the way, you'll monitor systems' health, perform vulnerability scans and patch management, and make sure every client gets the kind of service they can't stop talking about.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of IT support or help desk experience, preferably in an MSP environment, and a solid grasp of Windows OS, Office 365, and networking basics. You're the kind of person who can juggle multiple priorities without letting the details slip, and you know how to speak the language of both seasoned IT pros and non-technical users. A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and a home office setup with internet, phone, and VoIP capability are must-haves. Experience with RMM tools, VoIP platforms, SharePoint, WatchGuard, or certifications like CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco are a plus.
