Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery is looking for a reliable and hardworking Sanitation Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing common areas throughout our production and office environments to support food safety, employee well-being, and operational excellence.
Requirements:- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, entryways, and other common areas
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout the facility
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Wipe down appliances, furniture, and frequently touched surfaces
- Follow all safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Restock restroom and sanitation supplies as needed
- Report maintenance or repair needs to management
- Maintain a clean and professional environment for employees and visitors
- Follow all company food safety and sanitation policies
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous janitorial, sanitation, or custodial experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
