Paralegal

Job Title: Paralegal
Location: Toms River, NJ
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $50-$70k/yr.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm | Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm


Paralegal Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the handling of Property and Automobile subrogation claims
• Draft pleadings and motions related to civil litigation
• Additional related work as assigned
• Communicate effectively with adverse attorneys and claims adjusters
• Maintain computerized diaries using organizational and computer skills

Paralegal Job Requirements

• Experience in civil litigation
• Ability to speak with adverse attorneys and claims adjusters
• Strong organizational skills needed to maintain computerized diaries
• Prior experience drafting and filing pleadings
• Knowledge of insurance subrogation (a plus)
• Experience working with MS Word, Case Management Software, Adobe, and Outlook
• Detail-oriented with strong verbal and writing skills
• Reliable team player with a strong work ethic
