Front of House / Back of House Team Member
Farinolio | Westfield & Summit, NJ
Farinolio is a Tuscan café and bakery dedicated to bringing authentic flavors and warm Italian hospitality to our guests. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and hospitality-driven team member to join our growing team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in both Front of House and Back of House and thrives in a fast-paced café environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service with genuine hospitality.
- Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages and other specialty coffee drinks.
- Assist with preparing and plating our handcrafted Tuscan menu items, including schiacciate, pastries, and seasonal specialties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the café and kitchen.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Support catering, private events, and daily café operations as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, bakery, or restaurant preferred.
- Experience preparing espresso beverages is highly desirable.
- Interest in or knowledge of Italian and Tuscan cuisine is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in both FOH and BOH roles.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and occasional evenings for special events.
